Ball season in Central Europe
The countries of Central Europe boast a long-standing tradition of various balls and special dancing receptions. This, by the way, is a very good idea for surviving gloomy days, when the sun only shines briefly during the day. Almost every association, organisation, university, city or venue has its own representative ball. Thus, you can dance your way through winter.
The Opera Ball, which was held in Prague for the first time last year, has been inspired by its Viennese forebear. On that Saturday night, the Prague Opera building belonged to this ball, with charming and re-invigorating pre-dancing. The relative small building of the Prague Opera lent the evening a rather intimate atmosphere. The star of the evening was the Frech actress Michèle Mercier, well known as “Angélique” from the romantic film serie.
The Businessmen and Manager’s Ball, organised by PP Agency at the Municipal House in Prague, took place for the 11th time already. The organisers prepared a pleasant programme with clever utilisation of the lounges at the Municipal House for various music genres, enabling the guests to freely walk through and choose their dance – from classical to bellydancing. If you have an opportunity to participate at one of the central european balls, don’t miss it!
