Estonia, officially Republic of Estonia (Eesti Vabariik) is a Baltic country located in Northern Europe. It is bordered by the Gulf of Finland to the north, the Baltic Sea to the west, Latvia to the south and the Russian Federation to the east. It extends over an area of 45,228 square km. Estonians are Finnic, their language is related to Finnish.

Since 2004, Estonia is a member of EU.
