MICE CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE

The Czech Republic has professionalised its MICE travel industry and is now trying to focus its development on the regions and towns outside of Prague, which is already a renowned MICE destination. The 18th International Travel Trade Fair GO and the 17th International Regional Tourism Fair, REGIONTOUR, took place in Brno in the middle of January. We are the media partner of a new project that was launched at this year’s GO trade fair – Congress and Incentive Tourism. A designated area was dedicated to congress organisers and the MICE travel business in general (meetings, incentives, conventions and congresses, expositions and events) in the A2 stand-alone pavilion next to the representative Rotunda hall. Among the exhibitors were hotels, venues, chateaux and conference centres, provinces and regions. Our stand was in this section, offering media support, making new contacts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and providing magazines and information to MICE professionals and invited foreign hosted buyers. The trade fair is a must for all those looking for interesting MICE venues in the Czech Republic.
