The IT&CMA MICE trade fair in Bangkok, one of the most important Asian MICE expositions, started on the same day as political unrest against the local government spread across the city. The upheavals didn’t, however, affect the trade fair or endanger movement throughout the city.

As for the accompanying events, meetings, conferences and networking opportunities, the organizers of the TTG Asia Media trade fair, together with their sponsors, undoubtedly ensured that all of the delegates had unique experiences. Thailand is excellent for the purposes of the MICE travel industry and this was accentuated in a very creative way. As a media partner of the trade fair, we represented the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and provided MICE professionals from Asia, Europe and Australia with our magazines and information about the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. When talking about the Czech Republic, all the Thai people I spoke to, immediately mentioned football stars like Poborský and Nedvěd and even pronounced their names flawlessly. MICE organizers and corporate buyers showed great interest in our magazines and all our copies were given out. We also gained new readers from the ranks of MICE managers of banks and insurance companies.

The MICE trade fair IT & CMA coincides with the Corporate Travel World CTV Asia-Pacific trade fair where several Asian countries exhibit, such as Thailand, Korea, India, China, Japan, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and others.
