On March 17th the fifth Moscow M.I.C.E Forum took place. The event is an international exposition of the ‘business and incentive travel industry’ to literally translate the Russian title. It encompasses the whole field of MICE, including conferences and congresses and their respective organizers. The event once again took place in the premises of the T-Modul exhibition complex on Tischinskaja Square near the Bělorusskaja metro station.

M.I.C.E. Forum organizer and initiator, Mr Kim Waddoup, and his AiGroup is its heart and soul. His objective is to ensure that this one-day event is purely business-oriented with highly qualified buyers, exhibitors and professional visitors and to make sure that all the participants gain practical results – the realization of bookings, business deals, arrangements and contracts. These objectives were very well met, as was reinforced during my discussions with individual participants, whether exhibitors or professionals. During its existence, the event has not only resonated with Russian organizers of events and MICE, it has also developed an international character.

The event is aimed at MICE professionals – Russian buyers, corporate buyers – from various leading Russian companies that are invited by the organizers of the Forum; MICE specialists – business travel consultants, corporate travel managers, international specialists within the MICE field; professionals – hotel and airline representatives, Russian and international media, commercial visitors as well as students of MICE.

Overall, 80 exhibitors from various countries, including the Russian Federation, participated in the event. The procedure of having pre-arranged meetings, each lasting 20 minutes, proved to be of high quality.

MICE CENTRAL&EASTERN EUROPE, our company, had a designated stall where we presented our B2B magazines, gained new readers and met potential advertisers from various companies. We also provided information about possibilities for MICE within the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The organization of the Forum was highly professional, including the lunch with Indian cuisine. The event is professional and is not open to the general public. For more information, photographs or details about next year’s event, visit the event’s website www.mice-forum.ru
